Championing Our Public Schools

As a teacher, I see firsthand the challenges facing our public schools. The voters in our state voted to increase our investment in our schools. I will stand with the voters to improve our public schools so our children can compete in the global economy.

Ensuring Affordable And Accessible Health Care

Our state needs to do more to provide people with affordable and accessible health care. I will work to create more insurance pools to spread risk and lower insurance premiums in Washington State.

Reducing Our Dependence On Foreign Oil By Creating Green Jobs

We have an incredible opportunity in Washington State to be a leader in creating “Green Jobs”. These jobs will create new alternative energies to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and create thousands of new, living wage jobs with good benefits.
