Debi’s Story

Debi has lived most of the past 53 years within the 28th District, where she and her husband, John, have raised their three children. Debi currently teaches in the University Place School District at both Curtis Junior High and High School. She holds both a Master’s in Public Administration and a Master’s in Teaching, as well as a Bachelor’s in Sociology. In addition to working in the University Place School District, Debi served as her union President for four and a half years.

Debi is active in the community. She has served as both State Committeewoman and Chair of the 28th LD Democrats. She has also chaired her local chapter of the League of Women Voters.

Debi wants to bring her proven history of effective community leadership to the State Senate!
